About Jordan
Jordan grew up playing in Burlington and came through the Burlington Eagles AAA program before captaining the OHL's Saginaw Spirit.
He went on to play more than 850 pro games across four of the world's top leagues: the AHL, NHL, KHL and Germany's DEL.
Leadership followed him everywhere. He wore a letter on seven teams: captain of the Saginaw Spirit, Portland Pirates, Providence Bruins and Belleville Senators, and an alternate captain with the Springfield Falcons, Adler Mannheim and the Schwenninger Wild Wings.
Now he's home in Burlington, teaching the habits, compete and leadership that kept him in pro hockey for 15+ years.
The Szwarz approach
Win the puck, protect it, and want it more than the player across from you.
Body position, stick position, first steps — the small things coaches notice.
How pros get ready to play — on the ice and before they step on it.
Lessons from wearing a letter on seven teams: how to set the tone, hold yourself accountable and lift the players around you.
Camps
